PIM is a monthly magazine publishing 11 issues per year May-March. PIM is a private and abolutely independent magazine with a Reader per Copy rate of 15.3. PIM covers all aspects of plastics science and technology. PIM has readers in Iran and abroad and is mainly cooperating with the Italian association Assocomaplast.

PIM is the first and the only media in this field in Iran, which is publishing since Nov. 1985.
· Up to the end of Feb. 2003, 177 issues of PIM have been published and distributed to the subscribers (paid & free of charge) and regular buyers from news stands;

· PIM has the biggest rate of Readers per Copy among the national specialty magazines. The rate has grown over years from 3.5 to 15.3 (according to latest estimations);

· PIM has a wide range of readers’ job titles, among which there are: Government Bodies, Industrialists (in and out of the field), Technicians, Managers of different working area, Universities’ Students and Professors, Trading Companies, Foreign trade offices in Iran and abroad, Mould Makers, and sometimes even householders;

· PIM is distributed free of charge to the MP’s of the Parliament, President Office and some other Governments’ decision making offices;

· PIM has actively organized 10 scientific and technical seminars during last 10 years. Thanks to very near cooperation of the ASSOCOMAPLAST of Italy;

· PIM publishes articles in main fields of: Science, Technology, Economy and Literature of the Plastics Industry;

· The editorial board of the magazine is furnished by cooperation of highly educated Iranian graduates in Polymer Science & Technology;

· PIM is strongly cooperating with ASSOCOMAPLAST of Italy and its sister companies: CESAP, Enfiplast and Promaplast, to improve the technical knowledge of the Iranian industries;

· PIM has actively participated in most international exhibitions (“K” of Dusseldorf & “PLAST” of Italy) and has reporters for other famous exhibitions like NPE;

· PIM is strongly independent of any private or Governmental groups, agencies, association and co-operatives and has kept its independence as a “MIGHT POLICY”
