An independent magazine, ItaliaImballaggio came into being in November 1994, brainchild of a journalist possessing an in-depth knowledge of the sector, its protagonists and its dynamics, turned publisher to give concrete form to a specific communications project.

ItaliaImballaggio's aim is to give voice to the Italian packaging industry in as capable and professional way as possible, while rejecting a conformism that all too often confuses information with advertising.


Among the grounds for the success of the magazine, recognised by the readers and by the market, lies the fullness, the timeliness and the accuracy of its contents, that try first and foremost to get at the meaning behind the facts.


The magazine is divided up into five basic sections - covering marketing and design, statistics and sector trends, management, environment and legislation and lastly, technological and product innovation - all of which including in-depth features and news in brief.


ItaliaImballaggio was the first Italian trade magazine to be published fully in Italian and in English - in order to reach the non-Italian reader - this in line with its circulation objectives of targeting the decision-makers of international industry.


ItaliaImballaggio has another feature that has allowed it to stand out right from the outset: its graphics, painstaking in the way information is presented and in the visual impact, making the magazine more pleasurable to read and easier to consult. The cover, designed by well-known as well as up-and-coming packaging designers, communications experts, and - starting from 1999 - by worldwide well known artists ably represents the philosophy and the identity of the magazine.
